Zim Fashion Designer Attends Paris Fashion Week

Award-winning fashion designer, Ishmael Tsakatsa has set the bar high after he graced the Paris Fashion Week which began on September 21.

Tsakatsa took to Instagram and wrote:

“What an awesome show we had yesterday showcasing at Paris fashion week with @flyingsolonyc as we unveiled our Spring/Summer 2021/22 collection, “Stones of Fire” Thank you all for your love and support.”

Before he left for the fashion week, Tsakatsa told ZBC that he was very happy to represent the country.

“I am very happy and it means a lot for the fashion and clothing industry in Zimbabwe because l will be representing the country at large in Paris and this will boost our industry,” he said.

Tsakatsa is the brains behind the Zargesia designs.

Businesswoman Zodwa Mkandla also said:

“The young man is very exceptional he made my dress in 24 hours l was given his number by Pokello, him going to Paris will market Zimbabwe, put Zimbabwe on the map as a tourist destination he deserves it,” said Zodwa Mkandla .

In other news, iHarare reported that man of the moment, Roki has bagged two major endorsement deals with MTN and Vodacom through his latest hit song “Screenshot“.

Roki has become the first Zimbabwean artist to clinch a huge deal with both MTN and Vodacom.

MTN and Vodacom are South Africa’s biggest mobile network providers

With this major endorsement, South Africans using MTN or Vodacom can now use Roki’s song “Screenshot” as their caller tune.

Roki’s latest hit single which was released early in September surpassed 100 000 views within 24 hours of its release on YouTube. The hit song has so far amassed over 400k views.

The fast-rising star collaborated with popular South African record producer, singer, and songwriter Mr. Brown and South African Amapiano star Leon Lee on this hit single.-iharare.com
