It seems like popular Zimbabwean musician Freeman HKD just cannot get enough of South African superstar Makhadzi. The musician vowed that he will shoot his shot at the Limpopo-born musician when the two meet up in London in July
The Zimbabwean musician, real name Emergy Slyvesta Chizanga, said he is looking forward to working together with Makhadzi as well as her bae, Master KG.
Freeman HKD believes that collaboration with Makhadzi or Master KG will do wonders for his career and propel him to the next level.
As such, he is looking forward to shooting his shot at Makhadzi and Master KG when the artists meet in London for the JamAfro Festival next month.
Speaking to lifestyle tabloid H-Metro, Freeman said,
“I hope, with this opportunity to perform alongside international artists like Master KG and Makhadzi, will give me a chance to make connections.
“It will be great to create relationships with artists like them because it is beneficial to my music career.
“It will also be great to work with Master KG or Makhadzi in the future.”-
Limpopo stars Makhadzi and Master KG are scheduled to perform at the JamAfro Festival in the United Kingdom next month.
Makhadzi will be the headline act at the festival, which is pencilled for 30 July at Forum in Birmingham.
Other musicians who are set to perform at JamAfro Festival in the United Kingdom are Zimdancehall musicians Freeman and Jah Master, Feli Nandi, Sulumani Chimbetu and Sam Dondo.
Freeman also said that this will be his first time performing in the United Kingdom and that he will take full advantage of this opportunity.
“This event means a lot to me since it’s also my first time to go to the UK with my whole band.
“Last time, when I had a chance to go to perform in the UK, me and my band members failed to get visas.
“This time I hope it goes well.”
The “Pombi” star promised to deliver on the big stage.
“It’s a great honour to be part of the festival.
“There are many artists in Zimbabwe who also deserve to be part of this event, but being included there is an appreciation that I will cherish.”
“I am promising a solid performance from me and my team.”-iharare
