Tino Kadewere
Tino Kadewere finally scored for Lyon on Sunday and is hopeful that there are more to come.
The Lyon striker’s goal was the opener in the 12th minute of their 3-2 win over Strasbourg.
“I am happy to finally score for the first time in a league game. It was long overdue and I have been waiting for this opportunity in every game that I have played here.
“I am so happy to have scored an opener and I can’t really explain how l am feeling but it’s amazing to have done that for my team.
“I have been training hard to play well for my team and I have been given that opportunity by the coach so I am happy to have repaid the faith to some extent.
“As a player I wish to do more or maybe score more if there are chances of me scoring because as a striker I am expected to score.
“I hope that I will keep the scoring form,” he said.
Kadewere was shown a yellow in the 20th minute and was later substituted in the 64th for Moussa Dembele.
He added that he wants to do more for his team.
“There are still more games to play and that means more chances for me to score.
“Like l said when l came here that l want to do better and also prove my worth to the team.
“I also want the team to do well and will also do my best in doing all l can for the team.”-hmetro
