Cases of robbery in Zimbabwe are on an exponential rise and a week will never pass without the Zimbabwe Republic Police reporting such a crime.
As of yesterday, ZRP took to their page to report that an unidentified woman among 14 male robbers, got away with US$40 000 and ZWL$20 000 after robbing a house in Chitungwiza.
According to the police, the incident happened on the 29th of March in Manyame Park where the unidentified gang armed with machetes and hammers pounced on a security guard before entering the house.
The gang viciously attacked the security guard at the house and proceeded to the complainant’s house where they used dynamite to gain access into the house.
They [robbers] got away with six cellphones, a pistol with an empty magazine, car keys of an Isuzu KB300 and a Honda Fit car.

Also on iHarare, the police have revealed that a gang of thieves made off with R16 million following a daring heist at confectionery company, Lobel’s Biscuits in Bulawayo.
The thieves, who are yet to be identified, pulled off the heist at the company’s offices in Bulawayo on Sunday night. The gang also made off with an HP laptop, Z$110,000 and P1,000.
In a statement, police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said:
Unknown suspects broke into the company offices and proceeded to the accounts office where they broke a safe and stole cash amounting to US$79 819, ZAR16 739 950, Pula 950, ZWL$110 266 and an HP 250GB Laptop.
