Loveness leaked Vannesa’s intimate pictures with a married man, to the class WhatsApp group. The two fought over the issue before someone stopped the fight and took them to the school headmaster. The two were punished, but it marked the start of a difficult period for Vanessa. The girl allegedly suffered daily verbal abuse at the school after the incident.
As a way out, she is said to, have downed poison. In an effort to save her, Vanessa was rushed to Sally Mugabe Central Hospital where she unfortunately breathed her last.

Vanessa’s father, Cosmas Mutanhu, confirmed her death to H-Metro and declined to give further comment saying the case was being investigated by the police.
“Yes, my daughter died after taking poison. We cannot comment further since the case is now being handled by the police,” he said.
