The Zimbabwean versatile player has charmed the Scottish tactician and it has been widely reported that Moyes’ side is willing to break the bank on the 22-year-old.

Zemura has been a key factor in Bournemouth’s premier league promotion. The Zimbabwean international made 32 appearances for his side, finding the back of the net three times.

According to statistics provided by Who Scored, the defender averaged 1.5 tackles, 1.2 interceptions, 1.2 dribbles, and 1.7 clearances, and basing on such statistics, Moyes is eyeing to rope in the defender ahead of the 2022/23 season.

However, it is reported that Bournemouth is not keen to sell the defender and Scott Parker is negotiating with the player to extend his contract with the newly promoted side. Zemura has 12 months still active on his contract.

In other news, another Zimbabwe defender Isaac Mabaya is trending after pulling a scintillating performance during a pre-season fixture between Liverpool and Manchester United.

Despite Isaac Mabaya making a costly mistake that led to a goal, the 17-year-old teenager was showered with praise by many Liverpool fans.

Below are some of the reactions from Liverpool fans across the world to the 17-year-old’s performance against Manchester United.

Isaac Mabaya looked really promising today. Obviously made the mistake, but he looked really good going forward and he’s only 17… Could be one to watch out for.

One thing I liked about Isaac Mabaya is that he’s strong, quick and confident to receive the ball. He can be used in RCM role, if needed, to overlap with Trent and Salah. A few pre season games followed by domestic cup games would be good for him.
