Zimbabwean footballer Khama Billiat made the prestigious 11-men squad due to his performance with Mamelodi Sundowns during the 2015/16 campaign.

During that campaign, the lanky forward clinched the CAF Champions League trophy after his side defeated Zamalek 3-1 on aggregate.
Besides winning his first ever CAF Champions League trophy with Masandawana, Khama Billiat was in 2017 named the second best Africa-based player of the year after Sundowns teammate Denis Onyango.
Khama Billiat’s former teammates, Percy Tau and goalkeeper Denis Onyango were also named in the CAFCL team of the decade.
The two stars were also part of the squad that made history with the Brazilians in 2016, thrashing Zamalek to win the Champions League cup.
Meanwhile, Khama is under heavy criticism following his poor performances since last season with Kaizer Chiefs.
Kaizer Chiefs fans argue that the Zimbabwean is failing to live up to his prize tag and deserves to be offloaded.
Last season Khama Billiat netted a paltry eight goals across all competitions, and this season he has already scored seven goals.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma, former Kaizer Chiefs player Robson Muchichwa argued that Khama’s form is below the expectations of many due to the lack of quality players who can supply him with good balls upfront.
“Khama hasn’t been the Khama we know since he joined Chiefs. From how I see it, I think it has to do with the quality of players around him… they are not helping his type of play,”
“Without good supply, it’s difficult for him. Just take Peter Shalulile – he’s not the most skilful striker, but he’s got quality around him who feeds him the right balls. They make his job easy so he can just put the ball in the net. If you can take Shalulile now and put him at Chiefs, you’ll ask yourself if he’s the same player scoring week in and week out at Sundowns.”-iharare
