Scottland FC, recently promoted to the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, has appointed Tonderayi Ndiraya as their new head coach.
Ndiraya, a former Dynamos coach, arrives with an impressive track record. He led Simba Bhora to their first-ever Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title in 2024, clinching the championship with two games to spare and an unassailable 66 points. Under his guidance, Simba Bhora secured a crucial 1-0 victory against Arenel in November 2024 to seal their historic triumph.
Rumours had been swirling that Ndiraya would leave Simba Bhora after his contract expired on December 31, 2024. These rumours were confirmed on Monday when Scottland FC officially unveiled him as their new head coach.
Tonderayi Ndiraya Salary at Scottland FC Kept Underwraps
The club made it official by announcing Tonderayi Ndiraya as their new head coach on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, stating:
“𝗕𝗘𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗛 𝗚𝗔𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥: Tonderai Ndiraya: HEAD COACH.”
Details regarding the length and value of Ndiraya’s contract, as well as the composition of his technical team, had not been disclosed at the time of writing.
What About Genesis Mangombe?
The fate of Genesis Mangombe, who took charge in August 2024 and guided Scottland FC to the top flight, remains unclear. The club has yet to provide information on whether he will stay on in another role or depart.
