Nox Guni Reveals New Wife Gladys Mapfumo’s Age Amid Speculation He Married An ‘Old’ Woman
Renowned musician Enoch “Nox” Guni has set the record straight about his wife’s age after facing backlash on social media for marrying an ‘old’ woman.
Nox became a trending topic when photos of him and his second wife, Gladys Mapfumo, from their lobola ceremony circulated online. The couple tied the knot on December 28, and since then, Nox has been the target of online trolls, including his ex-wife Tallyn Ndudzo.

In an interview with The Herald Arts, Nox revealed that his new wife, Gladys, is 37 years old. He described her as a blessing from God, despite the negativity directed at her online.
“We don’t live for the social media streets, but God has a purpose in life for everything that happens,” he said.
Nox expressed that Gladys is the perfect match for him, as she also hails from Gutu.
“I am glad that I have married the right person who hails from my province in Gutu. She was raised in Chiredzi, but Gutu is her home area, and I come from Zaka,” he added.
Critics Won’t Break His Spirit
He emphasized that Gladys remains in high spirits despite the online criticism, adding that their happiness is not dictated by public opinion.
“Whatever people are saying, we won’t listen to them because we did not marry to impress them. The same haters who are having a field day on social media also need true love. You can’t live for the people because people are bound to say anything they want in life,” he said.
Nox, no stranger to social media scrutiny, said he’s learned to embrace criticism as part of life in the public eye.
“As celebrities, we are always in the spotlight because people will always talk. In my case, I have learnt to embrace criticism, which has kept me going and strong. “Without criticism, we are nothing, and I am glad that God has been keeping us going and strong,” Nox told The Herald.
