Nigerian Afro-pop and rhythm and blues singer and songwriter Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa-Donus, known professionally as Joeboy, arrived in Zimbabwe on Saturday for his concert at the Borrowdale Racecourse, Harare.
This was one of the most anticipated gigs in Zimbabwe with scores of revellers congregating at the Borrowdale Racecourse to witness Joeboy performing live for the first time on their home soil.
Joeboy is a well-known Naija artist who rarely misses whenever he releases a song. Making hit songs is absolutely his thing, hence concert-goers went hoping for a pulsating live performance.
But however, his Zimbabwean fans were left disappointed and took to social media to criticise his performance as one of the worst gigs they ever experienced.
On social media, those who attended the show expressed total disappointment from the show, with some even demanding their money back.
Some pointed out that Zimbabwean promoters should consider supporting local artists as they rarely disappoint when it comes to live shows.
Here are the comments from some disgruntled fans who were not to happy with Joeboy’s below-par performance:

Prior to his performance at the gig, the Nigerian Afro-pop singer and songwriter hinted about having a collaboration with the Uzumba-bred singer, Jah Prayzah.
