Popular South African music duo, Major League DJz has promised Zimbabweans a free show in December.

The twin brothers born Bandile and Banele Mbere were in the country over the weekend for their headline performance in Harare and Bulawayo.

They were expected to perform at Palm Estate in Borrowdale, Harare in a concert dubbed ‘The City Shutdown’ before the police stormed the show and shut down the event.

Party revellers in Harare were disappointed after the twin brothers’ performance was cancelled as they were looking forward to watching them perform live.

Taking to Twitter, Major League DJz apologized to their fans for the blunder and went on to thank those that thronged the Palm Estate for their show.

As a token of appreciation and to make it up to their fans, Major League DJz promised to return to Zimbabwe in December for a free show.

We want to sincerely thank each & every person that came out to our show at Palm Estate in Harare last night.

We unfortunately couldn’t get on stage to perform due to the police not allowing us to.
