Give praise where it is due. In this case, it will be unjust not to hail Jah Prayzah for taking the Zimbabwean music industry to a global level considering how he is now popular among notable music artists across Africa.
A few weeks ago, Makhadzi was in Zimbabwe for a Jam Afro Festival gig where she pulled one of her scintillating shows, leaving the fans yearning for more. Just a day after the show, she called Jah Prayzah for a collaboration.
“I owe you a song and I am in Zimbabwe what do you think,” wrote Makhadzi.
With much joy, the Zimbabwean artist heeded the call and approved to work with the South African Queen before sharing a photo together in the studio.
“You know I believe in your vibe always. Let’s create more magic. Studio has been cleared for you today,” he responded
Yesterday, Joseph Akinwale Akinfenwa-Donus, known professionally as Joeboy landed in Zimbabwe ahead of his gig which was held at Borrowdale Racecourse in Harare.
Prior to his performance at the gig, the Nigerian Afro-pop singer and songwriter hinted about having a collaboration with the Uzumba-bred singer.
You can watch Joeboy’s interview below as he hinted about the now much-anticipated collaboration.
