Zimdancehall star Seh Calaz has taken to his Facebook page and defended United Family International Church (UFIC) founder Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa and President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
This follows after President Emmerson Mnangagwa, the First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa, and Vice President Constantino Chiwenga attended a church service at the UFIC International Easter Conference on Saturday in Chitungwiza.
Speaking at the church service, Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa showered President Mnangagwa with praise. He said even if President Mnangagwa doesn’t campaign for elections, his works speak for him and campaigns for him.
Due to political differences, the development received a mixed reaction on social media as some people criticised Emmanuel Makandiwa.
According to Seh Calaz, different political opinions should not divide the nation because everyone should be free to express their thoughts regardless of political affiliation.
Seh Calaz further pointed out that the President should also feel free to attend any church service, and there is nothing wrong with it.
