South African media personality and socialite Zodwa Wabantu has got social media talking after video footage of her drinking Chibuku with a group of men surfaced on the internet.
In the video, Zodwa Wabantu can be seen seated with a group of men outside what looks like a drinking spot.
One of the men buys her Chibuku, she shakes the alcoholic beverage as per tradition before she opens it. She starts drinking it and by the look of it she really enjoyed her Chibuku. After drinking, she passes on the beverage to the man who bought her who also takes a sip.
Chibuku is an African traditional beer which was first brewed in Zimbabwe in 1962. Ever since then, the Chibuku brand has expanded across Africa.

The video of Zodwa Wabuntu drinking Chibuku has since sparked mixed reactions on social media as some tweeps laughed at her for downgrading from Savanna to Chibuku. On the other hand, some tweeps accused her of being a clout chaser.

In other related news, Zodwa Wabantu recently made headlines after she failed to show up at an event she was booked to perform.
She was booked to perform at the Men’s Cave event that was held at The Farm Guest Lodge on Saturday, 4 June.
Zodwa asked for a deposit of R10 000 for the R20 000 gig then she did not show up.
In her defence, Zodwa Wabantu said she could not leave home on the day in question as her ancestors wanted her attention.
“Yes, I know Dee. It’s just that I was held back by amadlozi to not go as they needed my attention during that day.
I have to pay back the money as it belongs to them. This was not me wanting to not go, but my ancestors who said I should remain at home. To my loyal fans in Joburg, I am so sorry. I promise I will do better next time,” Zodwa Wabantu said.-iharare
