Mane, who had 12 months still active on his contract, joined Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. Leaving Liverpool with 90 premier league goals, the reigning African Footballer of the Year Mane penned a three-year contract with Bayern in a deal worth €32m.

Having joined Bayern, Mane has already bagged silverware, the German Super Cup, and has netted five league goals in six games so far.

Following the departure of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, Thomas Tuchel had to look for reinforcements at the backline. The former Paris Saint Germain coach had to sign Napoli’s finest centre-back Koulibaly for €40 million.

For Chelsea, the deal of Koulibably was a bargain for the Blues since the Serie A side initially demanded €100 million before the coronavirus pandemic for the centre-back.

The Senegal Africa Cup of Nations winner has already marked his presence in the league with an astonishing goal against Tottenham Hotspurs.
