Gamuchirai Nemukuyu, the former wife of DJ Fantan, has broken her silence about their co-parenting situation following their separation.
Gamuchirai Nemukuyu claims that DJ Fantan has approached the courts to take away her two children from her.
The couple officially separated in July 2022, putting an end to a tumultuous relationship. The separation came after Nemukuyu was involved in a physical altercation with a woman named Vimbai Muponda, whom she accused of having an affair with DJ Fantan. Surprisingly, DJ Fantan later married Vimbai.
At the time, a local tabloid reported that Gamuchirai Nemukuyu had engaged the services of a Harare lawyer Milton Serima, to negotiate her separation from DJ Fantan as well as matters concerning child support and the division of property acquired during their marriage.
Nemukuyu has now revealed that co-parenting with DJ Fantan has been far from being a walk in the park. She claims that the DJ is attempting to take their children away from her, despite his alleged failure to assist in obtaining a birth certificate for their daughter, Ruvheneko. She accuses him of having ample access to the children but still resorts to legal action, claiming she denies him access.
In a now-deleted Facebook post, Gamuchirai expressed her frustration, stating,

In a separate post, Gamuchirai Nemukuyu dismissed DJ Fantan’s claims that he has never spent an hour with his children. She questioned how that could be true when he frequently shares pictures of him with them on social media.

As of the time of reporting, DJ Fantan had not responded to his ex-wife’s allegations.-ihrare
