Ambassador Angel Launches 200 Scholarships For Zimbabwean Colleges And Universities

Ambassador Uebert Angel has rolled out Two Hundred Scholarships for College and University students throughout the whole country in Honour of President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

A source in his camp revealed to iHarare that the ultimate goal will be to pay for 1000 students in the Tertiary space and 4000 students in High School and Primary every year.

The Scholarship is called OPEAAL ( Office of the Presidential Envoy And Ambassador at Large) PRESIDENTIAL SCHOLARSHIP, entirely sponsored by the Ambassador in honour of the Vision of President Mnangagwa, who is also the Patron of the Initiative.

The Scholarship Fund has no ties to the Government or taxpayers coffers. and is solely being funded by Ambassador Angel as part of the Philanthropic work he has been committed to and his vision to alleviate poverty in Zimbabwe.

The current recipients and beneficiaries of the scholarship were picked through a selection process that was overseen by institutions authorities. Students were picked from Harare Polytechnic, Belvedere Teachers College, UZ and NUST.

Next year, students will be required to apply to OPEAAL via the email presidentialscholarship@opeaal.co.zw

The scholarships are non-partisan and apolitical, as was requested by the patron HE ED Mnangagwa, to help all students regardless of the political parties they support.-iharare
