Multi-award winning Zimdancehall chanter, Winky D has won Africa’s 2021 Accountability Music Award.

Winky D has bagged an award worth USD 70K with his song ” Njema” from his album that was released in 2019.

The song ‘Njema’ reflects the frustrations of young Africans, spreads messages of inspiration and calls for change.

Winky D was up against Nigeria’s Femi Kuti ‘pa pa pa’, Yemi Alade ‘Dignity,’ Angelique Kidgo, Kenya’s King Kaka ‘Wajinga Nyinyi’, and Tanzanian Ney Wa Mitego ‘Raisi Wa Kitaa’.
